On the eastbound Interstate 10 just northwest of Palm Springs, two trucks crashed and caused all but one lane to close Monday night and into Tuesday morning. The California Highway Patrol reports that one of the trucks involved in the accident was carrying almonds which spilled and covered the lanes. As a result of the truck accident, one of the drivers was trapped for more than 45 minutes, but luckily no injuries were reported.
In the above situation, no one was seriously injured, but Palm Springs truck accidents can often cause many injuries because of the size of the vehicles.
